A full suite of fitted furniture designed for The Feathers, a newly refurbished 300 year old boutique hotel in Woodstock. The brief was to replace freestanding pieces with built‑in solutions that felt architectural, durable and tailored to each individually styled room.
What we designed
Working closely with the hotel’s design team, we created made‑to‑measure wardrobes and minibar units for 17 bedrooms. Each room required its own layout, proportions and colour scheme, with cabinetry designed to sit naturally within the existing architecture. The focus was on clean lines, practical storage and a calm, uncluttered feel that would stand up to daily hotel use.
Materials & details
We supplied hand‑sprayed Shaker‑style doors, bespoke minibar units and fitted wardrobes, each finished to complement the room’s palette. Careful attention was given to door alignment, shadow gaps and internal configuration to ensure every piece felt cohesive, robust and quietly premium
The finished rooms combine durability with a calm, tailored feel, supporting the hotel’s repositioning while standing up to daily guest use. All furniture was manufactured in Oxfordshire and installed by our in‑house team as part of the hotel’s reopening programme.
