THE FEATHERS HOTEL, WOODSTOCK

Project Overview

This bespoke fitted furniture project was completed for The Feathers Hotel in Woodstock, a boutique hotel known for its characterful interiors and warm atmosphere. We were asked to design and install a collection of Shaker‑style fitted wardrobes, a designer‑led minibar station, and a compact workspace area, all tailored to suit the hotel’s bedroom layouts and heritage architecture.

Design Brief

The hotel required a fitted furniture solution that improved guest convenience while maintaining the building’s classic charm. Key requirements included:

  • made‑to‑measure Shaker wardrobe doors

  • a fully integrated guest minibar and refreshment station

  • organised hanging and luggage space

  • a discreet, functional desk area suitable for business or leisure stays

  • joinery finishes that complement the hotel’s soft, neutral design palette

The brief centred on creating warm, durable, hotel‑grade furniture that enhances the guest experience without overwhelming the room.

Craftsmanship & Materials

The fitted wardrobes were crafted with traditional Shaker‑style doors, soft‑close ironmongery and internal storage tailored to the hotel’s operational needs. Inside, each wardrobe offers a combination of hanging rails, luggage space and concealed shelving.

The designer minibar station was built into a recessed cavity, featuring durable surfaces, integrated power access and space for a coffee machine, refreshments and guest amenities.
We also installed a compact writing desk using warm timber finishes and subtle detailing, creating a practical and welcoming workspace within the room.

Every element was manufactured using hotel‑grade materials, ensuring longevity, easy maintenance and a consistent aesthetic throughout the suite.

Outcome

This installation provides The Feathers Hotel with a cohesive, guest‑focused bedroom environment combining practical storage, refined Shaker detailing and a discreet integrated minibar design.
The result is a warm, functional and elegant space that enhances the hotel’s boutique charm while delivering a durable, professional hospitality solution.
